How do you react when someone hurts your feelings

I'll tell you about myself

I shut down, run, hide away....and then get my feelings hurt even more when people don't come looking for me....people I thought cared about me.....some do, but not as many as I thought would.

Regarding how I feel when hurt by others. I used to kind of act as you do

But I guess I grew up and stopped being over sensitive

It doesn't mean that I became senseless,it's just that I got the power to absorb shocks

I was in a lecture a couple of weeks ago and the lecturer gave us a golden advice

He said " Don't let your remote control in the hands of others" .. o

It was exactly what I needed to learn at that moment

It's us and only us who should control our mood not any word or behavior done by others

Thanks for your nice words Enigma, but sometimes you can't control yourself and feel pity for yourself.
I wish I could be like you , but it's not that simple.
You see I'm a person who is always focusing on the way to treat people and always making my concern on not to hurt anyone's feelings. It hurts me a lot when they don't care and act with me the opposite way.
I'll try anyway.

hi all


it depends on who is hurting my feelings

if he/she is so important to me .... i'd swallow it and shut up
or maybe cry
i might tell them ....so they fix what they did



if the person is not so important and meant to hurt me ... i'll payback quickly and smoothly


i'm known in talking in way that makes the listener wonder am I praising or insulting
