Can anyone help me finding me a native speaker as a friend ?

Hello evrybody
Iam an English language teacher for 18 years now ..but I still need to practice my English...So I think it is a good idea to find a native speaker of English to be my friend ..I tried my ways but I faild ..so if anyone can help ..I will be thank full
notice : I need to practice hearing and speaking only
Don't say listen to the radio..i can listen but the problem with speaking ..

my friend I need a person that I can talk to him and he ask me and I ask him..I mean I don't have a problem with writing ..or ..reading ...my problem is with speaking and listening ... So I need a person as a friend stay to gather most of the time ..talk on the phone ..etc.

What if you find someone who has a bad personality and attitude, Would you keep him as a friend just because he is an English native speaker ?????

yes ..you are right my friend ...

ofcourse I need a native speaker but that doesn't mean he must be a bad person... What if he found me a bad friend .. the general basement is people are good, Muslims -Christian..Arabs and none Arabs ....

If I found him a bad friend ofcourse I will not continue with him ..and lam sure
he will do the same if he found me bad person...

I'm sorry to inform you that in somehow I have the same problem, I'm not an English teacher though

and I guess it's a common one for the majority here in K.S.A

So, let's be more optimistic in such matter, yet as for me, I feel like that I had enough thinking about it over and over, so I've started registering in some English forums and I've found it very useful.

You're gonna tell me that your problem is with speaking and listening, ok! but I got over'em by watching a lot of movies and pronouncing what they say, yeah day by day, I've surpassed all my obstacles

You're more expert than me as you're older, believe me don't make it hard for yourself. sooner or later you're gonna get what you've been looking for.

first I would like to say ( Happy Eid ) also want to thank all members here who gave me the advices ...And I promise to do what they say ,,I hope I will success ...But i think all the advices which they tell ,,will take along time result ( at least 2 years )...while I think having a friend who is a native speaker will give faster learning .. mistakes correction ....

but anyway I won't ignore my friends' advices ,,,,

* NOTE : all of the advices is talking about improving listening ...What about speaking ?

i was facing the same problem,but now i had found a friend i'm talking with her by e mails and by phone.

so it is not impossible to find one.

yes i was changing from fourm to another and i had faced alot of characters,but at last i found a gentle woman love to hellp me and yesterday was her birthday,i call her .she was happy and i talk to her mother ,they r so gineruose with me.

Try To Make Ur Time During Calss In English And Dont Speak Arabic At All In The Class,,,this Is Will Help Second Try To Find Extre Jop In Each Company Just For Contact With People Who R Speaking English During All Thier Time This Is Also Help To Avoid Shamefull

look dude don't push too hard on yourself and try to be easy. To be honest with you, you wont be able to change your accent like natives because you passed the right age of " acpuisition " .. only young people can be like natives.

One more thing ... what's wrong with Saudi accent ? it's cute isn't it?

he will charge you for 300 riyals a month

We are facing the same problem - but we are beter than many people becouse of our good accent - Dont worry and take it easy
listen to the raduo and try ur best to repeat what u chatch of words - I think it is good tp help yourself well >
