Expalining the poem

[The Seeker]

I want to thank my brothers and sisters for their encouraging comments they passed on the poem I posted a couple of weeks ago. Any I want to just tell you that the poem is not about love of a woman. The poem is about life dunia and how some people think that it won’t drive them away from thinking of and working for the hereafter. So I wrote the poem as if it was a love poem.

Here is the poem again:

I thought my heart was fortified.
So it won’t yield for a look from your eyes.
Yet, oh wicked witch,
You kept casting your spells kiss after kiss.
Until my heart submitted to your every wish.
