Eyes of Innocence

[Meant To be]

I saw the torment in her eyes

They spoke: you don't realize

All the pain I've been through

A leech that won't let go

Dignity's been abased

Down never been raised

Contumely

Tyranny

Disgrace

All in harmony

A torture full of agony

She was miserable; she was in need

Of a warm heart; not as hers that bleeds!

Her face was shattered

Like unreachable dreams

Her smile was a depression

That gave me a full impression

How she forgot its taste!

Her life was such a waste

Misery is her only treasure

Containing pride and pleasure



I stood still looking at her lips

She wanted to say something

Instead she took a step

!...

All of a sudden….!

She pointed at a nearby tomb

With the finger next to the thumb

Like she wanted it her grave

It's the only place she will be safe!

She hated the world

With deep feelings

Not with words

She gave me the meaning

Of life and how it is like

A poisonous lance,

A time bomb

with no mercy

She lost the cure

It doesn't even exist

Her heart is crystal pure

She wanted to have a rest

Not on my chest….

but on her chosen grave

She had it inside, how brave!
