I don't know about Imam University, but I was told that you must pass a TOFEL first.
Then there is a multiple choice questions about general literary eras; Elizabethan, Victorian …an so on. they will be followed by two essay questions.
Finally, the interview: normally you will be given 2 minutes to introduce yourself and explain you reasons for joining the master program. Expect a couple of question about English literature and remember that one of the interviewer will try to be the devil's advocate, i.e., he'll try to shake you a little bit (by asking difficult questions or negating a view point you just have stated
) he does not mean to show how little info you have but the point is to see how well you defend you viewpoints and how do you handle criticism
and think under pressure. Bottom line, be confident the whole time
