Only silence can be heard and understood. Words can be heard but only

superficially, and can be understood — but only intellectually. Silence is

heard existentially and is understood from your innermost being. It is a total

understanding.

We are prepared to understand only words, not silence. We are educated to

understand language and all its complexities. Nobody helps us to go beyond

language, to go beyond words, to reach the wordless space within us.











Some of the finest gestures of communication are without words – A hug ,

holding hands, smiling, giving flowers, Crying …..


Your education has destroyed your ability to move into silence naturally.

Even in silence you speak! To you silence means stoppage of external

communication. To me silence means Thoughtless consciousness!

The only art of communication you need is art of Silence. If you learn the art

of silence then you also learn the art of speaking.

first of all, i don't think that there is a human being who doesn't know to talk unless he or she is dumb and deaf. however, not everything we talk iis reasonable and makes sense. you may like or admire someone just by a word he or she says. on the other hand, one word is enough to be a disaster on the head of the person it belongs to.

what i want to say that, if we stick to silence -even if for seconds- before talking, we will reduce the risks of bad communication with others. we will be able to lessen the misunderstanding that many of us face.

Silence is the time out that we should give to ourselves before we try to convey our messages to others. it is a skill the same as other language skills that we should acquire. it needs rehersal and training.

As you said , sister, silence is the basic requirement for understanding our surroundings. contemplation and only contemplation is the first step in understanding our problems and the world around us to find the right solution later, or else we will certainly regret.

i think that as there is a course called SECOND LANGUAGE AQUISITION, there should be a similar one called "SILENCE AQUISITION

Yeah that's right

Some words are disasters

and some people are just unaware of what their mouths say

as if their's some sort of disconnection between their mouths and their minds

when they speak I really like to keep quiet cause I don't have anything to say

to them.. I really think it's fair enough to keep silence while they talk cause any word from

you will urge them to throw more bombs..

we should stick to silence and believe that one day or another will come

and those misunderstandings will vanish

I always like to remind myself that " misunderstanding leads to understanding just be patient and you'll see "

silence is a period of time for our selves to grasp more about our surrounding and our souls..
