can do it (with hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But

he that will give more, of his own free will, it is better for him. And it is better

for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.[/MARK]

Well , you know this bird , right ?!




It's known as hoopoe but what you don't know that it's scientific

name is upupa epops << It seems funny when you say it ^^

I searched the net and found some information about this cute bird. ^^

Whenever a hoopoe is reported it attracts a throng of admirers.

The remarkable black and white tipped crest, when elevated like

the headgear of a Red Indian, conspicuous barring of the back

and broad wings, together with vinous head, neck and underparts

make the bird unmistakable.

A hoopoe can be surprisingly difficult to detect on the ground

especially when probing with long decurved bill.

It may only reveal itself when spreading wings to take fight.

Shortly after it may flop down and disappear as if by magic.

وَتَفَقَّدَ الطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِيَ لَا أَرَى الْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ الْغَائِبِينَ
20 . And he sought among the birds and said : How is it that I see not the hoopoe , or is he among the absent?

here is the verse

Allah says at the rest of the verses in Context

لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُ عَذَاباً شَدِيداً أَوْ لَأَذْبَحَنَّهُ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّي بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
21 . I verily will punish him with hard punishment or I verily will slay him , or he verily shall bring me a plain excuse .


فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِ وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍ بِنَبَإٍ يَقِينٍ
22 . But he was not long in coming , and he said : I have found out ( a thing ) that thou apprehendest not , and I come unto thee from Sheba with sure tidings .

إِنِّي وَجَدتُّ امْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ
23 . Lo! I found a woman ruling over them , and she hath been given ( abundance ) of all things , and hers is a mighty throne .

وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ
24 . I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah ; and Satan maketh their works fair seeming unto them , and debarreth them from the way ( of Truth ) , so that they go not aright :


أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي يُخْرِجُ الْخَبْءَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ
25 . So that they worship not Allah , Who bringeth forth the hidden in the heavens and the earth , and knoweth what ye hide and what ye proclaim ,

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
26 . Allah ; there is no God save Him , the Lord of the tremendous Throne .


قَالَ سَنَنظُرُ أَصَدَقْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ
27 . ( Solomon ) said : We shall see whether thou speakest truth or whether thou art of the liars .

اذْهَب بِّكِتَابِي هَذَا فَأَلْقِهْ إِلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُونَ
28 . Go with this my letter and throw it down unto them ; then turn away and see what ( answer ) they return ,

وأخرج ابن ماجة ابن أبي حاتم والحاكم وصححه وابن مردويه والبيهقي عن عائشة قالت‏:‏ تبارك الذي وسع سمعه كل شيء إني لأسمع كلام خولة بنت ثعلبة ويخفى علي بعضه، وهي تشتكي زوجها إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهي تقول‏:‏ يا رسول الله أكل شبابي ونثرت له بطني حتى إذا كبر سني وانقطع ولدي ظاهر مني، اللهم إني أشكو إليك، فما برحت حتى نزل جبريل بهؤلاء الآيات ‏{‏قد سمع الله قول التي تجادلك في زوجها‏}‏ وهو أوس بن الصامت‏.‏

وعن خولة بنت مالك بن ثعلبة قالت: ظاهر مني زوجي أوس بن الصامت فجئت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أشكو إليه، ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يجادلني فيه، ويقول: ((اتقي الله فإنه ابن عمك)) فما برحمت حتى نزل القرآن: {قَدْ سَمِعَ ٱللَّهُ قَوْلَ ٱلَّتِى تُجَادِلُكَ فِى زَوْجِهَا} [المجادلة:1]. إلى الفرض فقال: ((يعتق رقبه)) قالت: لا يجد، قال: ((فليطعم ستين مسكيناً)) قالت: ما عنده من شيء يتصدق به، قالت: فأتى ساعتئذٍ بعَرَقٍ من تمر، قلت: يا رسول الله، فإني أعينه بعرقٍ آخر، قال: ((أحسنت، اذهبي فأطعمي بها عنه ستين مسكيناً وارجعي إلى ابن عمك))...

اسمها كامل ( هي خولة بنت مالك بن أصرم بن فهر بن ثعلبة بن غنم بن عوف، صحابية جليلة من الأنصار، وكانت زوجة الصحابي المجاهد أوس بن الصامت)

She complained to the Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H)against her husband who used to mistreated her by not giving her what he was
supposed to do for her .In addition,before Islam ((PriIslam Era)) there was a cruel habbit where injustice was clearly existed ((which nowadays is completely refused and prohibited))especially when men usually in the past were dominating and mistreating women badly not giving them their living rights
