In fact, if there is one "secret" to success in anything, including learning English, it is emotion! Not methods. Not teachers. Not books. Emotion.

With powerful positive emotion, you can succeed at anything.

We talk a lot about learning methods here at Learn Real English. And we believe we have the best English learning method in the world. But even the best method is useless without emotion.

Simply put- if you are bored, tired, or sad you will not learn English well. This is how our brains work. Brains don't learn quickly when your emotions are mostly negative. Even if you use the very best learning methods and materials- you will get poor results if your emotions are weak or negative.

Tony Robbins, the famous peak performance coach, states that emotional mastery is the single biggest key to success, and we agree. Our best students- the ones who learn the fastest and get the best results- are always energetic, enthusiastic, and positive.

When they are learning English, they are smiling. They are laughing. They are focused and they have energy.

If you want to improve quickly like them, you should imitate them.

How? Put yourself into a strong positive emotional state every time before studying English.

First, sit quietly, close your eyes, and remember happy positive memories from your life. Feel the way you felt at that time. Remember times you succeeded. Remember times you were excited. Remember times you felt love.

Next, move your body. Stand up. Jump around. Smile. Lift your arms into the air. Get your blood moving!

Now you are ready to study English! Always do this before studying, so that you are always in a happy emotional state when you are learning English.

Do this and you will learn much faster. Your brain will remember much more. You will get much better results.

One needs self-esteem to succeed in everything faced in life..

Evoke your self, encourage it, feed yourself positively that you can do it as every body does

No one has less abilties than others.. It's self unconfidence that control you and holds back when everyone's leading their way to success..

Nice topic. Thanks for that. I really like it. But, sister if you let me add something here ,it would be appreciated for you . It does not mean that I will come up with something new besides what has been mentioned above by you. On the contrary, your topic is so important and useful at the same time. You have said something about emotion especially that one which has something to do with learning. I completely agree with you. We should add some kinds of comedy (if such a word) suits to our learning environment. For instance , being so serious and hard-working without giving ourselves that manageability of learning in order to go on successfully,it would kill us .We will feel bored and getting sick of everything about learning .However ,if we get relaxed and enjoy learning as if it were something fun ,it would work out .I still remember one way I used and still getting myself used to.It is how to get as much vocabularies as I can using a simple way . Then ,comes the idea of the funny way .Sometimes I attach the new meaning of a word or how it is pronounced, with something else exists in Arabic though there is nothing to do with each other. However, I found it easier for me and much more comfortable to learn. Thanks a lot .Sure ,it is a nice topic .
