دعونا نجمع شتات أفكارنا ونلملم جراحنا في ظل التخبطات العشوائية لوزارة التربية والتعليم
ونلقي الضوء على منهج TCM Level1

فأنا لا أعلم هل أهنيء نفسي بحصولي على نسخة وحيده لي كمعلمة من كتاب الطالبة في الأسبوع الدراسي الرابع أو أعزي نفسي بهذا المنهج الذي أقرب مايكون لمراجعة الأفكار لطالب جامعي.

فقد لاحظت الاسهاب في الشرح قليل المعنى وترك المضمون، وكأننا نشرح في كتاب معلم لا في كتاب طالب، أو نشرح لطلاب أمريكيين ...........!!
فهناك فجوة كبيرة جداً في المنهج فهو لا يلائم مستوى طلابنا البتة ..!!

عذراً على الإطالة ..ففي جعبتي الكثير.........


دعونا نعود بأدراجنا إلى المنهج ونترك الأفكار السوداوية ونذلل الصعاب ونتحدى....!!

وبحثت عن طريقة إضافة comma بين الصفات في الكثير من المواقع فوجدت
COMMA RULE #2 – THE COMMA WITH COORDINATE ADJECTIVES: Use commas between coordinate adjectives.
What are “coordinate adjectives”?
“Coordinate adjectives” are adjectives placed next to each other that are equal in importance.
Two tests to determine whether adjectives are coordinate are the following:
1. See whether “and” can be smoothly placed between them.
2. See whether the adjectives’ order can be reversed.
Look at this example.

In this example, a comma belongs between happy and lively because they are coordinate adjectives.
Test to make certain:
First, try the “and” test.

And placed between the 2 adjectives sounds smooth.
Second, try reversing the adjectives.


When the adjectives are reversed, the sentence still makes sense. Thus, happy and lively are coordinate adjectives in the example and should be separated by a comma.


CAUTION: Not all adjective pairs are coordinate adjectives. Thus, not all adjectives should be separated from one another by a comma.
Look at this example.

In this example, no comma belongs between the two adjectives young and golden because they are not coordinate adjectives.
How can we know?
First, try the “and” test.

And placed between the two adjectives does not fit smoothly.
Second, try reversing the adjectives.


When the two adjectives are reversed, they do not make sense. Thus, young and golden are not coordinate adjectives and should not be separated by a comma.

When we use two or more adjectives together to describe a noun, the order we put them in is quite important. For example, we don't usually say an old Indian beautiful carpet. It sounds much better say a beautiful old Indian carpet.

As a general rule, adjectives are usually placed in this order:

opinion > size > quality > age > shape > colour > participle forms > origin > material type > purpose

The phrase a beautiful old Indian carpet follows these guidelines:

You don't have to include an example of every type of adjective, but the ones you do use should follow the order. So if you wanted to add red and green to the phrase a beautiful old Indian carpet, you would put it between old and Indian like this:

It sometimes helps to remember the order of adjective if you consider that adjectives whose meaning is closely, or permanently, connected to the noun are placed nearer to it in the sentence. So in this phrase: a large comfortable wooden chair – wooden has a very close connection with chair .

Sometimes we can use but between adjectives, especially if their meanings seem contradictory.

If we use 2 adjectives that are similar in meaning, we usually put the shorter one first: a soft, comfortable cushion.

How can we konw that they are coordinate adjectives if we are neglecting the order of the adjectives
?

Commas with Paired Adjectives

Coordinate Adjectives

If two adjectives modify a noun in the same way, place a comma between the two adjectives. These are called coordinate adjectives.

There is a two-part test for coordinate adjectives:

(1) Can you replace the comma with the word and?

(2) Can you reverse the order of the adjectives and keep the same meaning?

If you can do both, then you have coordinate adjectives.

Correct: Did you read about Macomber's short, happy life?
Test for Correctness: Did you read about Macomber's short and happy life?

Did you read about Macomber's happy, short life?


All three sentences say the same thing, so the adjectives are coordinate adjectives and separated by commas in the original.

Cumulative Adjectives

If the paired adjectives fail the two-part test, then no comma is used. This shows that they must remain in a certain order to make sense. These are called cumulative adjectives.


Incorrect: The former, overweight woman told us how she lost fifty-five pounds.

Test for Correctness: The former and overweight woman...
(Makes no sense)

The overweight, former woman...
(A former woman? At best the meaning is changed.)


Clearly, no comma is needed for these cumulative adjectives.


Correct: The former overweight woman told us how she lost fifty-five pounds.

A device to help remember this punctuation rule is to keep in mind a common expression like Christmas tree or fire truck. We say, "green Christmas tree," but not "Christmas green tree." We say, "red fire truck," but not "fire red truck." Such cumulative expressions take no comma.

In some cases, it may be possible to change the first adjective to an adverb if it still makes sense by modifying just the second adjective. This will not work if the adjective must modify both the adjective and noun that follows it.

Correct: The formerly overweight woman told us how she lost fifty-five pounds.
However, that would not work for a sentence like the following:

Correct: The former secret agent had to change her identity.
In a case like this last one, the first adjective is clearly modifying the whole phrase secret agent.
