Irregular Verbs
What is an irregular verb
An irregular verb is one that does not take the -ed ending for the simple past and the past participle forms. Some irregular verbs don't change; put, put, put, while other change completely; buy, bought, bought, etc.
ِin the picture below you will find three columns: 1) for the simple present 2) for the simple past and 3) for the past participle
Simple present = صيغة المضارع
ٍSimple past = الفعل الماضي
the past participle is a kind of verbs usually used in english as a part of the perfect tenses and with passive voice
passive voice = الفعل المجهول
i know that many would say we could get these verbs from the net very easily and whats so special in putting them here in the forum. the reason for putting them here is that this list of irregular verbs if you noticed has the arabic meanings of the verbs, something which you wouldnt find in any english site
I only like to add that these are the most common used irregular verbs. there are some others but these are the most important ones

Thanks a lot for postin' in such a nice topic :) This is considered one of the most obvious obstacles to learning languages, especially English where verb conjugations is a really persistent problem that learners confront in both spoken and written English.
Suprisingly enough, SOME teachers of English find it hard to conjugate certain irregular verbs or even mix among the two types ! Unfortunately, I've witnessed enormous cases where straightforward -EDs were added to irregular verbs by the overwhelming majority of students ! It's a big disappointement
By the way, I couldn't find the list of irregualr verbs anywhere ! Hope u will reattach it soon..Thx again for the well-selected thread.. IT IS COOL

Here's - hopefully- another list
