The camel is an animal used for riding and carrying loads in the deserts. It is called
'the ship of the desert'. Arabian camels are found in Africa and in the Middle East. They have one hump. In China camels have two humps. They weigh up to six hundred kilos. They do not eat meat. Camels eat grass and different plants. They can drink more than 50 liters of water storing it for a long time. Camels are known to be very patient animals but they are fierce when they get angry. Some people like to eat its meat.
