Read the following paragraph carefully. Then answer the questions below:
Khalid Ibn Al-Waleed was a great Muslim solider and hero. His most famous battle was near the river Yarmouk, in 636 AD. Khalid's men had gone to this place because they liked to fight with the desert behind them. They knew the desert well, but the enemy did not.
Khalid's men attacked the enemy army, which was defending a narrow pass. A sandstorm began. The wind blew from behind the Muslims. The enemy could not see because the wind blew sand into their eyes.
The Muslims won the battle, and Islam was spread in all the area. Later, in the winter of 637, the Muslims captured the holy city of Jerusalem. In March 635, he had captured Damascus. The city had fallen . Khalid had moved his army to Yarmouk. Khalid died in 642. He was called " The Sword of Allah " because he fought bravely for Islam.
